Carolina Gonzalez

Dr Carolina Gonzalez is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Psychology and Wellbeing. She holds a PhD from Queensland University and prior qualifications from Universidad de Talca (Chile) and Queensland institutions. Her research focuses on parenting interventions, child development, trauma recovery, and mental health resilience. She has contributed to studies on parental engagement in interventions, cross-cultural trauma analysis, and developmental screening in primary schools. Her work often employs systematic reviews and experimental methodologies to address behavioral and psychological challenges in parenting contexts. Dr. Gonzalez has supervised a Master’s project on mental health in children with intellectual disabilities as an Associate Supervisor.
