Goutaudier Nelly is a Professor at the University of Poitiers, affiliated with the Center for Research on Cognition and Learning (CeRCA) and the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme et de la Société (MSHS). Her research focuses on trauma, memory, and psychopathology across the lifespan, particularly in perinatal and aging contexts.
Her research interests include:
- Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Posttraumatic Growth (PTG)
- Perinatal psychopathology, especially fear of childbirth
- Aging and memory disorders
- Personality traits, including the Dark Tetrad and schizotypy
- Trauma exposure characteristics and dissociative symptoms
Her recent publications reflect a strong focus on trauma-related mental health, memory reconsolidation, and personality profiling. She frequently investigates the interplay between trauma, somatic symptoms, and quality of life, using both clinical and non-clinical populations. Her work spans developmental stages from adolescence to aging, with a methodological emphasis on psychometric assessment and correlational analysis.
