Gloria Huang, MD, is a Clinical Professor at Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences. She is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist and principal investigator of a federally funded cancer research laboratory, with a focus on ovarian, uterine, and cervical cancers. Dr. Huang is affiliated with the Yale Cancer Center and actively contributes to the Gynecologic Oncology Program and the Reproductive Sciences division.
- Albert Einstein College of Medicine (2005) – Postdoctoral Fellowship
- Stanford University School of Medicine (2002) – Residency
- Stanford University School of Medicine (1997) – MD
- Yale University, Biology (1992) – BS
Dr. Huang’s research is centered on advancing gynecologic oncology through genomics, molecular profiling, and targeted therapy. Her work explores hormone-dependent neoplasms, neoplasm metastasis, and the role of genes like ARID1A and HER2 in tumor progression. She employs both preclinical models and clinical trials to develop innovative treatments, particularly for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer and rare cervical malignancies.
Her recent publications reveal a strong trend in evaluating novel therapeutics such as trastuzumab deruxtecan and PLX8725, as well as optimizing surgical techniques like sentinel lymph node mapping and HIPEC. These studies span clinical trials, in vivo models, and genomic analysis, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment.
