Gloria Bazzocchi is a confirmed Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, affiliated with the Department of Interpretation and Translation (DIT) since 2010. Her academic career focuses on Spanish language, translation, and linguistics, with a contrastive Italian-Spanish approach.

She has organized the In Other Words Translation Festival in Forlì (2021, 2023) and contributed to sustainable development and gender equality themes in translation pedagogy.
