Dr. Glenn Harden is an Assistant Professor of Political Science & History at Asbury University, teaching since 2019. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science (International Relations) from the University of Kentucky (2021), alongside MA degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary (2011) and George Mason University (2001), and a BA from The George Washington University (1992). His research focuses on transnational human trafficking policy, blending quantitative and qualitative methods. He has actively contributed to anti-trafficking advocacy through non-profits and task forces.

Research Interests: Human trafficking policy diffusion, religion and politics, transnational advocacy networks, and the intersection of ethics and governance. His work examines how international sanctions and NGOs influence policy adoption globally.
Professional Experience: Prior roles include high school teaching (2001–2003), online education (2008–2015), and contract specialist (1992–1999). He co-founded non-profits addressing commercial sexual exploitation and led dog rescue efforts in the Dominican Republic (2007–2015).
Community Engagement: Active member of the Kentucky Human Trafficking Task Force since 2016. Serves as an oblate of St. Brigid of Kildare Monastery and attends Wilmore Anglican Church.
