Glenda Delgado Ramos

Glenda Delgado Ramos, M.D., serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and is affiliated with the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Her clinical expertise centers on breast cancer, genitourinary malignancies, and optimizing cancer care delivery for underserved populations including racial/ethnic minorities, elderly patients, and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.

Her academic training includes:

• Medical Degree with Honors from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Ecuador
• Internal Medicine Residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center
• Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center (serving as Chief Fellow)

Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Delgado Ramos joined UT Southwestern in 2022. Her research investigates systemic barriers to equitable cancer care, focusing on socioeconomic, racial, and age-related disparities in treatment access and outcomes. She actively contributes to oncology discourse through peer-reviewed publications and professional society engagement.

Dr. Delgado Ramos maintains active memberships in the American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and American Society of Hematology. Fluent in Spanish and English, she balances her medical career with family activities, outdoor recreation, international travel, and cultural exploration.
