Gkampriella Selempa is a PhD Student and Graduate Research Fellow at the Science and Technology in Archaeology and Culture Research Center (STARC), The Cyprus Institute. She holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Ethnology from Democritus University of Thrace and a Master’s in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology from University College London (UCL). Her research focuses on osteoarchaeology, with fieldwork experience in Cyprus, including excavations of Bronze Age tombs in Linou and Hellenistic/Roman tombs in Achna. She has collaborated with the Department of Antiquities on multiple projects, including surface field research across Cyprus and combating illicit antiquities trafficking through her prior role at the Office Combating Illicit Possession and Trafficking of Antiquities.
