Giuseppe Miccolis is a Full Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Salento (Italy). He holds an LL.M. from the University of Bari (1984) and a Doctorate in Civil Procedural Law (1992). He has been a visiting scholar at Harvard University (1990-1995) and served as Associate Professor at the University of Bari (1998-2000) before moving to Salento in 2000.

- Member of editorial boards for Giornale di diritto processuale civile and Judicium
- Contributed to legal reform commissions for class actions and civil procedure code updates
His research focuses on procedural law innovations and their application in domestic/international arbitration contexts. Active in doctoral supervision across multiple cycles (XXXVII, XXXVI) and legal specialization programs. Served as Director of the School of Specialization for Legal Professions until 2006.
