Giulia Sedda is a non-tenure Assistant Professor (RTD-a) in Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (DIEE) of the University of Cagliari. She obtained her Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Robotics from the University of Genoa, following an M.Sc. in Bioengineering (Neuroengineering and ICT) and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cagliari.

Her research focuses on neuromotor (tele)rehabilitation and the study of perception-movement interplay, leveraging computational models, perceptual stimuli design, and experimental setups. She leads the European Search and Rescue project for the MeDSP lab, contributing to technological and design advancements.
Giulia actively participates in multidisciplinary projects, including EU-funded initiatives like MYRTUS, S.E.A.R.C.H. AND R.E.S.C.U.E., and PNRR MUR projects such as STOPme and VISIONARY. Her work bridges bioengineering, robotics, and AI applications.
