Dr. Giuditta Fontana is an Associate Professor in International Security at the Department of Political Science and International Studies, University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on peace processes, war-to-peace transitions, institution-building, and cultural/education reforms in conflict-affected societies.

Recent publications emphasize user engagement in peace research, cultural dimensions in post-conflict societies, and innovative pedagogical tools like LEGO®. She has received prestigious fellowships including the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship and Birmingham Fellowship.
