Gisela Nyberg

Gisela Nyberg is a Professor at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) in the Department of Physical Activity and Health. She specializes in physical activity and health promotion for children and adolescents, with a particular focus on health equity and interventions in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.

Research Interests: Her work centers on preventing childhood obesity through school-based parental support programs, measuring physical activity via accelerometers, and addressing socioeconomic disparities in adolescent health.
