Björg Helgadottir

Björg Helgadottir is Senior Lecturer at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), researching physical activity's impact on adolescent brain health. Her Brain Health in School project examines cognitive benefits of exercise interventions.

Research Areas: Investigates relationships between physical fitness, screen time, academic performance, and psychosomatic symptoms in youth. Recent studies explore implementation challenges for school-based physical activity programs.
