Giovanni Fattore is a Full Professor of Public Management and Policy at Bocconi University. He previously served as Director of the Policy Analysis & Public Management Department (now the Department of Social and Political Sciences).
- Education: Laurea in Economics (Bocconi University), MSc in Health Policy and Management (Harvard University), PhD in Social Policy (London School of Economics and Political Science)
His research focuses on health policy, public management, and health technology assessment, with recent work on loneliness and AI in healthcare. He has published approximately 200 scientific articles, books, and chapters.
He has held leadership roles such as Scientific Director of the 2015 International Health Economics Association (iHEA) World Conference in Milan and serves as Associate Editor of Health Policy. He is an active member of WHO networks including the Health Systems Policy Monitor and Financial Protection Forum.
