Dr Giota Papadimitri is an Associate Professor of Banking and Finance at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. She holds a PhD in Economics and Finance from the University of Portsmouth and has held prior roles including Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Portsmouth Business School. Her research focuses on corporate finance, governance, and societal impacts, with recent publications in journals like Journal of Corporate Finance and British Journal of Management. Dr Papadimitri also serves as an Honorary Academic Fellow at the University of St. Andrews and has held visiting roles at King’s College London.
