Giorgio Dal Piaz

Giorgio Dal Piaz is an Ordinary Member of the Academy of Europe (Membership No. 553) in the section of Earth & Cosmic Sciences, elected in 1989. He held academic positions at two Italian universities:

• Full Professor of Geology at the University of Padua (1976-2007)
