Giorgia Sulis

Giorgia Sulis is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa's School of Epidemiology and Public Health. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from McGill University (2021), a Medical Degree from the University of Pavia (2011), and a clinical specialist diploma in Infectious and Tropical Diseases from the University of Brescia (2017). Her research focuses on global health challenges, particularly tuberculosis control, antibiotic resistance, vaccination strategies, and infectious disease management in low-resource settings. She has conducted extensive work on improving diagnostic accuracy, optimizing antimicrobial stewardship, and engaging private healthcare sectors in disease prevention.
