Gina Osterloh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art at The Ohio State University's College of Arts and Sciences. She holds an MFA from the University of California, Irvine (2007) and a BA from DePaul University (1996). Her interdisciplinary art practice explores photography, video, performance, and sculpture, focusing on themes of perception, representation, and identity. Osterloh has exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions at the Columbus Museum of Art and MOCA Detroit.
Her research investigates photographic conditions like representation, legibility, and illusion through symbolic forms such as masks and grids. She teaches courses including Introduction to Digital Photography, Darkroom Techniques, and Graduate Seminars in Image Making.
