Corine Vermeulen

Corine Vermeulen serves as an Adjunct Professor at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, where she contributes to visual arts education through the Visual Development program. A Dutch photographer who established her studio practice in Detroit in 2006, she is internationally recognized for her immersive long-term projects documenting urban communities undergoing transformation. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Time Magazine, The Guardian, and The Fader, establishing her as a significant voice in contemporary documentary photography.
