Gina Mertz

Gina Mertz is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Master of Arts in Counseling (MACP) at Jessup University's School of Psychology. With over 25 years of clinical experience, she specializes in counseling children, adolescents, adults, and families, particularly in trauma and abuse treatment. She currently oversees faculty, course delivery, practicum placements, and student advising in her role as Program Director.

Her professional mission revolves around providing hope and healing through counseling and clinical supervision. Additional Interests: Gina is a poet and writer of Christian children’s books, an active church member, and enjoys global adventures with her husband. She also operates a private practice in Roseville, California.
