Gina Iannone

Gina Iannone is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she has taught for over a decade. Her current courses include Advocacy and Evidence, with prior teaching in Constitutional Liberties and Criminal Law. She also contributed to the blended-learning program in Advocacy.

Professionally, Gina has worked as a public defender since 2004, handling over 40 trials in Rhode Island and litigating serious felonies in Sherburne County, Minnesota. She now focuses on misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors in Anoka County.

An advocate and volunteer for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Minnesota, Gina’s involvement is driven by her daughter’s experience with Crohn’s disease. Her academic and professional work centers on legal education and criminal defense practice.
