Michele Corgiat serves as Program Director for Undergraduate Psychology and Professor in the School of Psychology at Jessup University (Rocklin, CA), leveraging over 20 years of clinical private practice experience alongside teaching and supervision expertise at high school and community college levels to support MACP student practicum development.
Educational background includes:
- M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University
- B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus
Her research integrates clinical psychology with Christian theology, focusing on shame manifestations, identity reconstruction processes, and reconciliation frameworks centered on Christ. This interdisciplinary approach examines psychological healing through spiritual integration within therapeutic contexts, addressing gaps in faith-based mental health treatment modalities.
Currently advising Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology students through practicum placements while pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology, she utilizes extensive clinical supervision experience to bridge academic theory and real-world therapeutic practice.
