Gilly Mah

Gilly Mah is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Culture and Community at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, specializing in design education and practice. She holds a Master of Applied Science from Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, with additional studies at Parsons School of Design in New York.

Her pedagogic philosophy emphasizes 'curved line thinking' and focuses on adaptive learning in digital environments. Research interests include sustainability, user experience design, graphic novels, and end-start design methodologies.
