Gilles Mailhot

Gilles Mailhot is a CNRS Research Director 1st class at the Université Clermont Auvergne, affiliated with the Laboratory of Meteorology Physics. He holds roles such as Director of the Federation of Environmental Research (FRE) and has served as President of the ANR Chemistry Committee. His research focuses on environmental chemistry, photochemistry, and advanced oxidation processes for water treatment. Notable awards include the Shanghai International Science and Technology Cooperation Award (2014) and the CNRS Scientific Excellence Price (2014-2017). He has extensive collaborations internationally and contributes to EU H2020 programs. His work spans atmospheric chemistry, water treatment technology, and environmental remediation.
