Dr. Giles Dixon is a Research Fellow at the Academic Respiratory Unit under the Bristol Medical School at the University of Bristol. He is a Specialist Trainee in Respiratory Medicine, focusing on predictive modeling and disease progression tracking in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).
- Education: BMedSci (1st Class Honours) from University of Sheffield at the MRC Centre for Developmental Biology.
His research integrates machine learning with quantitative CT scanning to identify prognostic factors in fibrotic ILD, alongside exploring novel imaging biomarkers for disease mechanisms.
