Gil Solanes Farres

Gil Solanes Farres is a researcher in the Department of Mathematics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UAB (2003) and a degree in Mathematics from the same institution (1997). His academic career includes roles such as Investigador Ramón y Cajal (2008), Professor Lector at the University of Barcelona (2005–2007), and postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Burgundy and University of Stuttgart (2003–2005). He has led and participated in numerous research projects, including the ongoing 'UNIVERSAL GEOMETRIC STRUCTURES AND INEQUALITIES' (2022–2025).

His research focuses on differential geometry, integral geometry, and curvature measures in complex and pseudo-Riemannian spaces. Key areas include hyperbolic space analysis, kinematic equations, and geometric integral calculations. Recent work addresses curvature measures in pseudo-Riemannian manifolds and tube formulas in complex space forms.
