Giel Ramaekers is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), specializing in the Power and Flow group. His research focuses on developing numerical simulation tools for iron powder flame combustion, contributing to sustainable energy solutions aligned with UN SDGs. He holds a Master's degree from TU/e (2005), a second M.Sc. in Internal Combustion Engine Technology from IFP-School (France), and has taught at IFP-School during his doctoral studies. After a decade in industry, he returned to academia to explore zero-carbon metal fuel combustion.
