Ghazala Perven

Dr. Ghazala Perven is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, affiliated with the School of Medicine. She joined UT Southwestern in 2015 and specializes in epilepsy care, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy surgery. Her roles include staff physician, clinical instructor, and lead investigator in epilepsy research.

Dr. Perven earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan, followed by neurology residency at the University of Toledo (serving as Chief Resident) and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology/epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic.
