Gerrit Bauch is a postdoctoral researcher at Bielefeld University, affiliated with the Institute of Mathematical Economics (IMW) and the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies (CeUS). He is also associated with the CUDE research training group and the CRC1283 collaborative research center.
His research spans game theory and decision theory under Knightian uncertainty, with applications to languages, narratives, correlation, and partnership dissolutions. He further explores topics in complex analysis and coding theory, particularly in the context of evolutionary best-response dynamics in noisy environments.
Recent activities include poster presentations at the 14th International Symposium on Imprecise Probabilities (ISIPTA) in Bielefeld, Germany, and talks at the XXIV SAET Conference in Ischia, Italy, and The Lisbon Meetings in Game Theory and Applications in Portugal, all focusing on strategic communication of narratives.
