Germán Mora is a full-time Professor in the Environmental Studies department at Goucher College (Baltimore, Maryland). He holds a Ph.D. (2000) and M.Sc. (1997) in Biogeochemistry from Indiana University, and a B.Sc. (1992) from the National University of Colombia. Prior to Goucher, he served as a post-doctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University, and taught at Iowa State University and Montgomery College.
- Research Focus: Paleoclimatology via stable isotopes, urban stream carbon dynamics, environmental education pedagogy
- Teaching: Courses include Climate Change, Environmental Geology, and Sustainable Happiness
His peer-reviewed work spans 13 years, analyzing carbon cycling in urban/suburban watersheds, isotope-based paleoclimate proxies, and educational methodologies.
