Gerda Neyer is a Researcher at the Department of Sociology, Stockholm University, affiliated with the Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA). She holds a PhD in Political Science and an M.A. in Mathematics. Her work bridges demography and political science, focusing on welfare states, gender equality, and social inequality in family dynamics across Europe. Current projects include studying fertility intentions in Sweden amid declining birth rates, the impact of parental leave policies on family formation, and migration trajectories in Nordic countries.
