Gerald Dyker

Research Focus: Prof. Dyker's work centers on transition metal catalysis, self-assembly of bimetallic nanomagnets, supracyclic calixarenes, coordinative cavities, and helically coordinated polymers. His research bridges fundamental organometallic chemistry with advanced materials science, particularly investigating molecular architectures with potential magnetic and catalytic properties.

Teaching Legacy: Prof. Dyker has developed an extensive video lecture series spanning multiple courses including Organische Chemie 1 & 2, Stoechiometric Organometallics, Catalytic Organometallics, Designing Organic Syntheses, and Competing Reactions. His lectures from 2011-2018 demonstrate systematic coverage of organic reaction mechanisms, retrosynthetic analysis, and advanced synthetic methodologies.
