Georgios Kyriakopoulos

Georgios Kyriakopoulos is an Associate Professor of International Law and Vice-Dean at the School of Law, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He holds a BA in Law from NKUA, a D.E.A. in International Law and Political Science from University Paris 2 (Panthéon-Assas), and a PhD in International Law from the same institution. His doctoral thesis on civil aviation security received the Prix de thèse from the French Society of Air and Space Law.

His research spans:

Recent publications focus on regulatory challenges in space safety, environmental protection in aviation, cyber-warfare definitions, and the role of non-state actors in outer space.
