Georgios Bouloukakis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece. Previously, he was an Associate Professor at Télécom SudParis/IP Paris (2020-2025) and held a postdoctoral position at University of California, Irvine (2017-2020). He completed his PhD in Computer Science at Sorbonne University/INRIA Paris in 2017, focusing on IoT middleware and QoS analysis. His research spans IoT middleware, edge computing, distributed systems, and smart spaces. He has coordinated 1 EU project as Scientific Coordinator and led 4 EU projects as Principal Investigator.
