Sahar Hoteit is an Associate Professor at Université Paris Saclay / CentraleSupélec, affiliated with the Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes (L2S). She is a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. Her expertise spans telecommunications networks, resource allocation, and edge computing, with a focus on 5G/6G systems, Open-RAN architectures, and vehicular networks. She holds a PhD in computer science and networks from Sorbonne University (2014) and has held postdoctoral positions at L2S and INRIA. Her research integrates reinforcement learning and optimization techniques to address challenges in energy efficiency, network slicing, and latency-sensitive applications.
Education:
- PhD in Computer Science and Networks, Sorbonne University (2014)
- M.S. in Network and Computer Science, University of Pierre and Marie Curie (2011)
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Lebanese University (2010)
Research Focus: Telecommunications networks, Open-RAN, vehicular edge computing, reinforcement learning, network resource allocation, and energy efficiency. Her work addresses challenges in multi-resource orchestration, mobility-aware task migration, and QoS-driven cooperative schemes.
Awards:
- Junior Member of Institut Universitaire de France
Teaching & Responsibilities: Teaches courses on Internet architecture, networking protocols, and connected vehicles at CentraleSupélec and Paris-Saclay University. Coordinates the Multimedia Networking Master’s program and oversees projects like HEIDIS (ANR-funded) and STC (telecom-cloud services).
Lab Affiliations: L2S (Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes), part of CentraleSupélec’s research ecosystem.
