Georgina Wilkins is a Researcher at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), specifically within the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. She focuses on translational research aimed at improving understanding and care for rare diseases and complex comorbidities in children and adolescents. Her current projects include investigating Pharmacogenomics in Rett Syndrome and developing educational resources for schools supporting pupils with rare diseases.
She is part of the Centre for Interventional Paediatric Psychopharmacology Research Team (CIPPRT), which addresses medication-related suicidality, Patient-Centered Outcome Measures (PCOMs), and rare diseases such as Rett syndrome and mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS) syndrome. Her work bridges clinical research and practical applications, emphasizing collaboration with parents and educators.
