George S Tsagaris is an Assistant Professor at the School of Social Work, Cleveland State University, with over 30 years of teaching experience since 1992. He has instructed 15+ undergraduate and graduate courses in criminal justice, social work practice, policy, and research methodology while holding leadership roles including Curriculum Chair and co-chair of the CLASS Dean's Diversity Council.

With 34+ years of frontline experience in juvenile probation services, his work focuses on evidence-based practices for probation supervision, community reintegration, and violence prevention, particularly through his international collaboration with Australia's Sexual Violence Research Unit.
Tsagaris has secured significant grant funding from the Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Program for staff development initiatives, including national two-week training modules on supervision. His curriculum leadership transformed the MSW program through credit-hour restructuring and modernized pedagogical frameworks.
He maintains active international research partnerships as an academic member of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) and contributes to court system reforms through his prior presidency of the National Court Services Association.
