Georg Friedrich Hoffmann

Prof. Dr. med. Georg Friedrich Hoffmann is a Professor of Pediatrics and Specialist in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Heidelberg University. He serves as Medical Director of the Department of General Pediatrics, Neuropediatrics, Metabolism, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology, and Managing Director of the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine (Children's Hospital). He leads the Dietmar Hopp Metabolism Center and directs the Tracking Newborn Hearing Screening program. He chairs the Center for Rare Diseases at Heidelberg University Medicine and chairs the Screening Commission of the German Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine since 2002.
