Geoffrey Clark

Geoffrey Clark is a Professor at the School of Culture, History & Language, Australian National University. He holds a PhD from ANU and an MA from the University of Otago. His research focuses on Pacific archaeology, particularly colonization processes, monumental architecture, and prehistoric migration. He has conducted fieldwork in Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, and Palau, employing methods like zooarchaeology, geochemical analysis, and remote sensing. Clark has received prestigious awards, including the ARC Future Fellowship (2010-2014) and Fellowships from the Society of Antiquaries London and the Research School of Asia and the Pacific.
