Geoffrey Bellew is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Law, University of Notre Dame Australia (Sydney Campus), and currently serves as a Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (NSW). He holds a distinguished career in law, spanning roles as a solicitor (1983), NSW Bar member (1991), Senior Counsel (2006), and Supreme Court Justice (2012). His expertise includes criminal law, evidence, advocacy, and civil practice, with notable involvement in sports tribunals and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

His teaching focuses on Criminal Law, Evidence, Practice and Procedure, and Advocacy. He has authored/co-authored major legal texts, including Ritchie's Uniform Civil Procedure and Uniform Australian Evidence (LexisNexis). Professional affiliations include the NSW Bar Association and the National Rugby League's Judiciary Panel, where he serves as Chairman.
