Professor Geoff Dickson is a prominent academic in Sport Management at La Trobe University's La Trobe Business School. His roles include Director of the Centre for Sport and Social Impact (2021–present), Theme Leader for Economic Development (2020–present), and former Associate Dean (Research) (2021–2021). He holds a PhD and BA(Hons) from Griffith University, with prior academic positions at Auckland University of Technology and Central Queensland University.
Research interests focus on interorganizational relationships, systemic governance in sport, corporate governance, and consumer behavior. He explores how sport organizations navigate collaboration, conflict, and power dynamics within networks.
