Genevra Murray

Genevra F. Murray is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health Policy and Management at NYU School of Global Public Health. Her research examines healthcare organization and management, focusing on payment/delivery system reform impacts on health disparities and safety net populations.

Education includes a Ph.D. in medical anthropology from University of Pennsylvania and B.A. in anthropology from the same institution, completed summa cum laude.

Research interests encompass primary care delivery systems, integration of social services with medical care, advance care planning, and global sexual/reproductive health systems. Methodologically specializes in longitudinal qualitative approaches to study organizational transformations in healthcare.

Prior experience includes fellowship at Boston Medical Center and research scientist roles at The Dartmouth Institute, with publications in Health Affairs and Milbank Quarterly.
