Gemma Gabor

Gemma Gabor is a Lecturer II at Gallaudet University's English Language Institute (ELI), part of the Language, Education, and Culture school in Washington, D.C. She holds interdisciplinary degrees including a Doctor of Medicine, MA in English Language Education, and MA in Christian Education from institutions in the Philippines. With over two decades of teaching experience, she specializes in educating deaf and hard-of-hearing international students. Beyond teaching, she serves as program coordinator, academic adviser, CEA accreditation coordinator, and admissions counselor for the ELI. She is an active member of TESOL since 2004 and has presented at conferences such as TESOL 2023, the National Deaf Center (NDC), and LINCS 2024, focusing on deaf adult English language learners.
