Dr. Geetika Aggarwal is a Lecturer in Instrumentation and Control Engineering at the School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies (SCEDT), Teesside University. Her academic journey includes completing a PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Northumbria University (2015-2019), followed by post-doctoral research at Nottingham Trent University on the EU H2020 ComfDemo project. She holds Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and is actively involved with professional bodies like IEEE and IET.
Her research focuses on interdisciplinary areas including IoT, Optical Wireless Communication, VLSI, AI, and Sustainable Smart City technologies. She has led initiatives like the 'Digital Technologies for Energy Efficient Manufacturing' session at IEEE ICAC 2024 and co-edits special journal issues on topics like 6G Optical IoT and Prosthetics Control Systems.
