Gebhard Wulfhorst

Gebhard Wulfhorst is a Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the Faculty of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering, heading the Chair of Settlement Structure and Transport Planning since July 2006. His work focuses on the interplay between spatial structures and mobility behavior, emphasizing integrated settlement and transport concepts, model-based impact assessment, and urban-regional planning processes.

His research spans transportation demand management, mobility cultures in megacities, accessibility planning, and integrated land-use/transport systems. Key projects include mobil.LAB, WAM, and Bahn.Ville, with collaborations across Europe and global megacity studies.
