Gayun Chan-Smutko is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Genetic Counseling department at MGH Institute of Health Professions, part of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She holds a BS in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan and an MS in Genetic Counseling from Brandeis University. Her academic focus combines clinical expertise in hereditary renal cell carcinoma with pedagogical innovation in genetic counseling education.
