Gawon Yun

Dr. Gawon Yun is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Missouri State University, specializing in Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM), Reshoring, and Global Operations. He holds a PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Rhode Island, an MBA from Colorado State University–Pueblo, and a BA in English from Kangwon National University.

His research focuses on advancing supply chain sustainability, strategic sourcing decisions, and global operational strategies. Notable work includes frameworks for sustainable supply chain interactions, port competitiveness through ambidextrous strategies, and ethical behavior in supply chain ecosystems.

Recent publications span topics like digital twinning for resilient supply chains, India’s electric vehicle market efficacy, and AI-driven student learning analysis. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical industry challenges in logistics and operations.
