Gavin James Bower is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University’s School of Writing, Publishing and the Humanities. A Lancashire-born author of two novels and one non-fiction work, he combines academic practice with journalism, having contributed to major publications like The Guardian and The Sunday Telegraph, and served as a scriptwriter for EastEnders since 2014.
