Gary Paulo is an Artist Affiliate in Saxophone at Berry College's Music Department, part of the Visual and Performing Arts School. He holds a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from Georgia State University (2008) and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University (2001). His primary teacher was Eugene Rousseau.
Research interests focus on saxophone performance across genres, including orchestral, jazz, and pop collaborations. He performs with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Alabama Symphony, and Albany Symphony, and has shared stages with artists like the Zac Brown Band and the Temptations. He is a member of the Atlanta Saxophone Quartet and has participated in regional NASA conferences.
