Dr. Gary Lindsey is a Professor of History at Lubbock Christian University (LCU) and serves as Faculty Adviser for Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society. He holds a PhD in History from Texas Tech University, a Master's in History from Abilene Christian University, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University.
His professional journey includes teaching at Oklahoma Christian University for ten years, adjunct roles at Abilene Christian University, and prior experience in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University. At LCU, he has been a faculty member for five years and is a founding member of the university’s Alpha Rho Gamma chapter of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Research interests focus on history and architecture, reflecting his interdisciplinary background. He actively engages with academic honor societies and maintains a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship.
