Gary Linassi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Saskatchewan. His career spans clinical practice, research, and leadership in medical education. He completed his BSc (Hons) in Geology at the University of Saskatchewan, BMedSc and MB from the National University of Ireland, Cork, and FRCPC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from the University of Saskatchewan.

Research Interests focus on improving healthcare delivery for individuals with spinal cord injury and amputations, including falls prevention, self-management programs, and undergraduate medical education innovations. Scientific Awards include First Place in the Medical Student Research Contest (2020), Second Place Award in Education (2016), and Honourable Mention in Case Reports (2016). He has contributed extensively to studies on spinal cord injury registries, amputation trends, and neuro-rehabilitation.
